Background
We appreciate how important it is for parents to know their children are left in capable hands so our Babysitters are qualified and/or experienced in the childcare sector. They include individuals such as nannies, childminders, playworkers, mothers and nursery nurses. All our sitters are mature and over 18 years old. As they all have their own transport you will not be asked to contribute to lifts home or to pay for taxis.
We do occasionally accept sitters who are studying at college or work in a non-childcare field but only if they can provide excellent references to support at least 2 years babysitting experience.
We ensure all our babysitters have been CRB checked within the last 2 years of them joining the agency. The majority of our sitters have already been thoroughly CRB checked by their local authority (childminders, trainee teachers and playworkers) and we hold confirmation of this on file.
The Agency vets every Babysitter thoroughly. We undertake face-to-face interviews with each applicant to establish their suitability, practical knowledge of first aid and experience with different aged children. We then obtain two written references, which you are welcome to see. This allows us to establish trustworthiness and their ability to work with children.

We Operate on the Following Basis:
Booking Arrangements

•Parents telephone or email the agency with their request including the start and finish times that a Babysitter is required.

•We match your request with our Babysitter availability and confirm the booking with you.

•Our Babysitter will contact you in advance of the evening to familiarise themselves with the routines of your children and confirm timings.
Babysitter Requirements

•Children must be ready for bed or able to get ready for bed. Our Babysitters cannot be responsible for bathing.

•Please leave a contact number, children’s medical details and Doctor’s number by the telephone.

•If, for unforeseen circumstances, you are more than 15 minutes late returning please telephone the Babysitter and let them know what has happened.

•The provision of refreshments for your Babysitter would be appreciated.

•Our babysitters can only babysit for children who are on the parent registration form.
